Using the New Clients Questionnaire
Best way to use this.. give me a call (508.475.9327) or email and set up an initial meeting and then we can discuss these ideas in person!
New Clients Questionnaire
Business and Goals
To begin with I’d like to understand a little about your business and who your customers are and who you are trying to reach via a new website…
Is the new website focused on product, information, a “yellow page” site that informs of your location and contact info, blog, etc…
What is the primary goal of the site?
Content
Do you have material in an electronic form, marketing materials, a source of inspiration or overall design in mind?
Are there other forms of information that you can use a website to distribute? (Professionals find it an easy way to send out forms, directions, etc)
Will you use social media, Facebook, Twitter, and blogs?
If your site will have a lot of content such as articles, blog, how do you plan to keep it fresh?
Do you want to collect emails, start a newsletter, discounts?
Search Engine Optimizing
This is the process of making your site more visible. Is SEO important to the success of your site? For most sites it is critical unless you have a targeted audience in mind (photography proofing for example)
While we’ll cover this in more detail, it’s important to start thinking about the phrases and words a customer would use to find you and the web locations a person might use to look for your type of business.
If your site is a redesign, did you collect analytics data and do any keyword analysis for the present site?
Website Organization
How should flow of information be organized – traditional? (home, about, products, contact) or a more customized layout? Is it possible to sketch a flowchart?
